We camped at Silver Lake Michigan and stayed at the Yogi Bear Campground there. It is a great park filled with lots of family activities and a heated pool!

Camping weekend June 2008
We spent most of the day Friday at Michigan Adventure. The kids had a great day and we enjoyed watching them on the rides and had a great time in the water park! If you live in Michigan it's a great family park.
Camping Trip June - 2008
Hi Everyone: This past weekend we took Elizabeth, Jeremiah, Josiah and Cristan camping on the west side of the state with us. It was planned as a weekend to celebrate Dennis Hickmott's 60th birthday! Dennis and all 11 of his grandchildren were there, plus there parents. The Dunn families, and Harris family were with us also and Mildred (Sharon's) mother. We had a great weekend and just a little bit of bad weather.

Opening of my brother inlaw's cabin up north
We had a great time going up to Traverse City to help get our Brother inlaw's cabin ready for the summer. Jeremiah had a great time Fishing and riding on the paddle boat. We had a great time spending time with some of the family. 
Mother's Day gift
This is the lovely homemade gift my Daughter made me for Mother's day. Choc. dipped strawberries and choc. dipped oreo cookies! What more could a Mother ask for! Oh and also choc. dipped rice krispy treats!
Memorial Day Weekend-2008
Hi Everyone: Just got back from a really nice weekend Camping with Family and Friends. We spent the weekend at our local County park. We have been camping there with friends for years. It was great to be away from home, but it was even nicer that the campground was only a 15min drive, saved on gas! Espeically since gas today was $4.09 for regular, we don't even want to talk about diesel. There were 10 families in our circle and 27 children ranging from 6months to 15 years old! So like I always say "If you don't like kids this isn't the weekend for you." But we enjoy spending the weekend with everyone and I always look forward to seeing how much the kids have grown. We had a special surprise this year because our nephew Nicholas joined us for a night of camping. Gary's sister Kim also came out for a few hours on Sunday. When PaPa asked Jeremiah and Josiah how camping was, there answer was "Sweet". So that sums it up! Looking forward to the next trip out with the trailer around the 12th of June.
