Lexington Outhouse Days 2009

We had a really good time with Cristan and the Grandkids at Lakeport State park near Port Huron this past weekend. We visited Lexington, MI for their Outhouse days on Saturday. They had outhouse races, toilet paper rolling race, crafts and music. I hope you enjoy the picture as much as we enjoyed spending the time there.
Papa won't let a little rain spoil sitting by the campfire!

We enjoyed the outhouse races!

Josiah made a star wars figure out of foam! He loves to create things, and I think he's pretty good at it!

This is Cristan and the families second trip out in their new (used) pop up! The boys love it.

Can you tell Fall has arrived, look at those white caps! Josiah told me that's how you can know it isn't save to swim! Good call Josiah.

VIDEO OF ELIZABETH AND HER NEW TRICYCLE

CHECK OUT THIS LITTLE VIDEO OF ELIZABETH ON HER NEW TRICYCLE! AS YOU CAN HEAR, SHE LOVES IT!

Elizabeth new tricyle

Elizabeth on her new trike! I sent the other one back because this one I can control the stearing from the back, the front wheels lock. The back wheels also swivel for easier turning. She loved it! Thanks Great-Grandpa and Grandma Shaw!

Hi Everyone: Here are a few pic's of Elizabeth's with her new glass's! We are so excited! As you all know that Elizabeth was born blind and we were given no hope of vision. But according to the Doctor we visited last week, and as a result of our prayers they have found that Elizabeth does have some vision. Poor mind you, but vision never the least! Cristan explained it to the boys this way " When a baby is born it takes a few months for them to begin to use the vision they have". So in about 3 months we are hoping to see some kind of results from Elizabeth having the glass's and doing the therapy. So please continue to join us in praying for Elizabeth.

In His Love and Mine,
Grandma Cheryl

Here's what's been happening in our Yard this week!

We also had these visitors. I like them.

We have two mother Turkeys and their 30 babies running around our yard. If you know me, you know that I have a terrible fear of birds!

Gary and I attended the Cheeseburger Festival in Caseville, MI with our camping friends. Since my Birthday was Sunday I baked these little cheeseburger cupcakes! Happy 51st birthday to this Grandma!
