Hi All: On Thursday evening I had 10 ladies over for our annual Cookie exchange. It was a great evening. Everyone brought 9 dozen cookies with them and 1 dozen to share that evening. It is always fun to get to see everyone around the Holiday and hopefully provide a way for everyone to have a variety of cookies and candy on their tables. I'm sure that it is helpful especially to those ladies who work full time. Hopefully it doesn't add stress to their lives but makes their holidays a little less stressful. We had quite a variety this year from fudge, to biscuiotti . I know what it is, just can't spell it. :)
Jeremiah and Josiah (my grandson's) came to spend the night tonight. They arrived around 4:00p.m. and by 5:00 they had their snow pants, coats, gloves and hat on and Papa and them were out in the yard making snow angels and trying to make a snowman. Then they came in to warm up, had a bite to eat and of course they were off to the hot tub for a little swimming! After that they had two Popsicle's, and then played with the dog and then it was off to bed!! YEA! I am now enjoying the peace and quiet.
Well, I am sure that the rest of this weekend will pass by quickly. I love the anticipation, can't wait to see the eyes of my grandson's sparkle. They reminded me today that we only have 3 days left until we get to open our presents. In the car on the way from their house today they were practicing the song they are singing Sunday at church, "Go tell it on the mountain" I am so thankful that they are being taught that the reason we celebrate this season is that Jesus Christ was born. So I say to you, Go tell it where ever you are that Jesus Christ was born!
Merry Christmas and May God Bless each of you. I will check in with you and share highlights from our Christmas with you soon.
Grandma Cheryl

Sorry I missed the cookie exchange, but even without the extra cookies I need to turn over a new leaf because my clothes got so tight this season!
