A Year today.

Hi Everyone: I woke up to a phone call from Rochelle from church this morning around 7:00 a.m. to let us know that because of the snow storm church had been postponed until next sunday. The phone call was just at the right time as I was still laying in bed and thinking that one year ago today my brother had been laying in that bed and in a moment in the twinkling of an eye he left this world. For those of you who might not of known, he had suffered for pretty much a year from the results of living a sinful life for many years. He would of been the first to say, "Don't feel sorry for me, I have no one but myself to blame for this". Years of drinking took it tole. As I sit and reflect on this past year and how fast it has gone by. I can't believe that I will be celebrating the second Christmas without him. I am very happy that he finnally recv'd the great gift of Salvation but I have truly missed him. I do however look forward to reuniting with him.

Friday evening PaPa and I had our grandson's Jeremiah and Josiah over. Papa spent the day saturday with them outside, sledding on a whole lot less snow then we have today! They also rode the fourwheeler and of course they swam, as they call it in the hot tub twice. Jeremiah and I made Sugar cookies together and was that a blast. He had flour every where, I will have to share pictures of that with you. We took them home late saturday night because of the winter storm warning. They were calling for 10-12 inches of snow. I think we got around 6 actually.

Since there was no church, my friend Stacey came over and we had breakfast together and made Candy. We made peanut butter balls, coconut balls with almonds, a chex mixture made of white choc, almonds,m&m's,rice chex, wheat chex, and pretzels. Everyone seems to enjoy it every year. We ran out of choc. so I will be picking more up tomorrow when the roads are clear and finishing up the choc. covered pretzels. I look forward to spending the time with her. Plus it helps out in the gift giving department.

Well, the oven bell has gone off and I need to get my cookies out of the oven.

God Bless until we chat again.

Cheryl
